Tips On Plant Propagation

We all love to grow and nourish plants. Seeing them grow with the love and time we give them is a feeling out of this world. But we all end up failing to grow them properly at times and end up killing them. These are only beginner tips to grow both potted indoor plants or outdoor garden plants. I hope you can Grow some beautiful plants using our tips!

  1. Adequate Hydration:

Water forms the base for plants to grow well. But stop right there! Overwatering them will only make them lose strength, and they will eventually die. An important tip for this is to purchase pots with water draining holes in the bottom. This way, you will know when the plant has been given enough water. And currently, many of us use recycled bottles r cups to grow plants. In that case, make sure to make some holes in the bottom and place a circular plate. This way, when you water your plants, the excess water seeps into the plate, which you can remove after a while.

For bigger garden-grown plants, make sure to water them until the soil is in a semi-solid consistency. The outdoor plants need slightly more water than indoor plants since they are exposed to different weathers. But during winter and monsoon, do reduce the amount you water them.

2. Food for the Plants:

Yes, the soil does give nutrients to the plants. But just as we need extra supplements to keep us riding through the day, the plants also need some more supplements. Many use liquid fertilizers, which is a great option. But in my experience seeing my family grow plants in our garden, we use more solid natural fertilizers. For more information, you can check our plant's product-related store page. Another natural way of making manure for your plants is to add vegetable wastes to the plant's soil. If you think that will spoil the garden's look, try to dig a little hole near the plant and add these wastes there. They will eventually mix with the soil and reach the plants.

3. Sunlight:

While some plants need a good amount of sunlight, some other plants don't need much sunlight. It's important to understand the plants' needs and plant them where their needs are being met. If you can't get the information on the plants' needed sunlight in a nursery, there are many articles online that you could refer to which will help you grow them to their best. Another important tip is never to place under direct sunlight. This will evaporate the water and cease the growth of the plant.
